Small Setback -

So I restarted my home computer Monday night thinking, well…it has not be restarted in a while, it’s about time. Little did I know that my computer would go into shock with

this seemingly little thing and rebel against me. It took my husband 5 hours and two trips to Best Buy (for the wrong things) to figure out what was wrong - Bad Ram - Seriously -

While I sat wondering ‘It’s OK, I can use my laptop and still get stuff done’ - wrong! Well apparently when the main computer is down then so is the network therefore I couldn’t

access any of my files - completed or otherwise. Ugggh!!! So by the time Scott figured out the problem, Best Buy had closed and I missed an entire evening of proofing and posting.

I am praying that by the time I get home tonight from my newborn session that it will be back to normal and I can post what I have completed and finish the ones that are started.

a little delay...

I know several of you are waiting on sneak peeks, proofs and orders…I just ask you bear with me a little longer. We have had a family emergency this week and have been at the hospital. I promise you will have everything soon…

***UPDATE*** - I just wanted to thank everyone so much for all of their well wishes, it really means a lot!! Without going into too many details, my mom is still in the hospital but is doing better today.

Man the last couple of months have been crazy - with the bad flus that have come through our home (and yours!), the power outages, the website issues, our dog getting hit by a car and now my mom in the hospital - I’ve got some AMAZING clients to put up with all of these things!!! I think I may just have to offer an AMAZING special for all of you!! I’m going to think about what might be good…maybe a HUGE discount on some of the products, maybe a special mini-session day just for my past clients, maybe a gift card - please look for a poll to be posted soon to help me with suggestions, or feel free to suggest something that you might be interested in!! THANKS AGAIN!!!

No Power...

Hi Everyone, I’ve finally been able to get to a friend’s house to use their computer. We have been without power since yesterday. I know several of you are waiting on proofs - I have a couple sessions ready to go and I’m in the middle of a few more. Unfortunately, I cannot access my files without MY computer. This means no proofing, no posting and no ordering. Please be patient, and I promise I will get these to you ASAP! My husband and I will be spending the rest of the day with our Mothers and our son. I’m sure by tomorrow evening when I get home from work I will be back in business.

****UPDATE**** I finally got my power back last night! I will be trying to get as many sessions as possible posted tonight and tomorrow night!! Thanks for your patience!

Rough Night...

Tonight started off as usual…We were headed out the door to go to Austin’s soccer practice. It was such a beautiful night that I decided to take Bear and Cookie to the practice with us. As soon as we got out the front door, Cookie slipped out of her leash and ran across the street and down a couple of houses. Literally seconds later…the squealing of tires, a thump and yelp and Cookie had been hit by a car chasing another dog back across the street. THANK GOD Austin knew better than to run into the street after her!!! Cookie wiggled around a lot under the car and finally managed to get out from under it. She took off again down the street. 45 minutes with the help of my brother-in-law, 5 neighbors and the poor guy who hit her, we finally got her back home. She was breathing funny and was walking with a little limp but mostly looked OK. We took her to the Vet who did X-Rays and took some blood to ironically check for internal bleeding. She has a collapsed lung and some internal bruising, but no broken bones or internal bleeding at this point. They started an IV, gave her some pain meds and said that she needed to go to the hospital for overnight observation.So $563.52 and 5 ½ hours later, Cookie is doing better but in the ICU for observation at the Animal Hospital. I have to go get her at 7:00 tomorrow morning and I hope they let me bring her home…what a night! Needless to say, I’m now a day behind on proofing and getting collages and orders out. I will try to get caught back up as much as possible tomorrow and will still be able to make my April 19th deadline for the Mother’s Day sessions.




















4/17 **UPDATE** Cookie is back home and doing MUCH better. She has stayed curled up at my feet all day while I worked form home. She is still not eating anything, but I’m sure that will get back to normal soon. Thanks to everyone for their well wishes!

A little more patience

Just wanted to let everyone waiting for proofs know that I have not forgotten you. I am behind on proofing, and I have been having site issues on top of it. It looks like the site issues are almost fixed so I can stop working on that and get back to getting those pictures to you. It looks like with business picking up, I’m going to have to extend my turnaround time from 7-10 days to at least 12-15 days anyway. Thanks again for your patience and I will be caught up soon.

On another note, keep an eye out for a new website soon - it will be MUCH faster, I promise!

Problems with site...

As many of you have noticed, there have been several problems with the site in the last week. My webmaster switched hosting sites and with that came some crazy errors. As soon as we get one fixed, another pops up! I am sorry for the inconvenience, this should all be resolved very quickly.
